Originally, the tournament was scheduled to be played from 9 February to 26 March 2023; but, in July 2020 it was announced that the tournament would be delayed to an October–November window, with reports citing the disruption of the qualification schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

- India always believes in “Atithi Devo Bhava” and that is the first introduction of India to the whole World. Kindly try your level best to maintain the spirit and help the foreigners to the best of your capacity.
- During the entire tournament, you may find some celebrity/familiar faces/foreign guests in the market, tourist spots, hotels, restaurants, and other public places. Please try to be hospitable and allow them their space freely.
- Safety is always a big concern to travelers. Being an Indian, it is our duty to cooperate with police and security personnel, avoid any lewd or racial remarks, help the guest with the required information, and try to make them feel safe and secure.
- Do raise your voice against any notorious person or group creating a nuisance, and try to report to the police if required.
- It is our country, and being a citizen, it’s our primary duty to be a wonderful host and give the best impression to the international community.
